Job Description:
- Lead, coach, and build a collaborative, innovative, and product-oriented team environment.
- Define and align quarterly and monthly team and individual goals and objectives toward the company’s OKRs.
- Managed and matured a team of developers
- Ensure smooth project progress by foreseeing potential issues and taking preventive measures.
- Supervise Team Performance and Project Schedules: Keep track of how cross-functional teams are performing and ensure projects are on schedule, optimizing resource allocation.
- Collaborate with Various Teams: Work closely with the Marketplace Team, Product Managers, Developers, and Infrastructure to streamline communication and enhance overall coordination.
- Offer technical insights for the concepts generated by the new business team.
- Collaborate in incorporating payment services API, aiding and backing different teams.
- Offer technical advice and supervise the development process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in engineering.
- Develop and implement quarterly OKRs for the engineering team, aligned with the organization’s objectives.
- Track and report progress toward OKRs, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve goals.
- Collaborate with HR and upper management to recruit, hire, and onboard new engineering talent.
- Manage resource allocation, including staffing and budgeting, to ensure the team’s capacity to deliver on OKR’s
- Continuously assess and improve engineering processes, workflows, and methodologies to increase efficiency and quality.
- Identify and implement at least two best practices for project management and software development annually.
